Frustrated with a friend who was terrified and too ashamed to masturbate, my editor came to me with this article idea. I was so enamored with the topic and knocked out all the writing and research in about an hour. To date, this is one of my favorite articles I've written. Not only am I passionate about the topic, but I got multiple DMs and e-mails from readers who said this piece made them laugh and that they agreed with me. Messages like that make the stress and anxiety of writing SO worth it.

Worked with two of my co-editors on this sponsored campaign with Nordstrom. We created multiple spreadsheets to keep ourselves organized, conceptualized the looks, and wrote the copy for the piece.
I loved doing this story because Nordstrom is already a company I know and love. As a plus-sized woman, it can be extremely difficult to find stylish, trendy clothes that come in my size. Nordstrom's plus-size offerings are the best when it comes to department stores, and I feel included and welcomed in their stores. Also, it was totally fun to play model for a day.

This article was a bit of a challenge for me. I'm 22, not in a relationship, and know pretty much nothing about weddings. So, I used my resources, did some research, and put on my childhood wedding planner dream hat. I ended up having so much fun writing this and getting to interject my own style as it fit with the brand.
